OverviewWant to teach, understand the FAR's better, and become extremely proficient flying aircraft? If that is your desire then flight instruction is the way to go. There is nothing that you can do that will make you a better pilot than by teaching it. Flight Instruction is a wonderful way to inprove your skills accross the board.
There are no time requirements for flight training, though you should expect to fly more than 5 hours. All of that time will be spent becoming proficient flying from the right seat of the aircraft. You will have to perform all of the maneuvers in the Instrument Rating courses to the highest standard. This includes but not limited to intersecting and tracking, VOR navigation, DME arcs, precision and non-precesion approaches.
